Ok, i dont actually have have the poem/ballad that alex wrote because he made it in the form of a youtube video which he posted on the website G4tv.com (see the link below). i chose his ballad to be included in this project and my blog because it really hits pokéfans where it hurts, right in the jigglypuffs. We can all relate to how modernized pokémon has become and we think about the simpler times of red and blue, even yellow the special edition. I feel strongly that this is a great ballad because of his use of repetition (What happened to you? ---i miss the music too) as well as the rhyme scheme (abcb, defe etc). there's one line where he harmonizes with the background music when he talks about team rocket, that line is a 1-hit KO for me, like fissure or sheer cold for you pokéfans. thats about it for this ballad/explication, you guys should definitely check out more alex day, he's a great musician and he has a british accent!!!!!1111!!!!
